Bob Feil grew up in Russell, Kansas, but was led to Marshalltown for work on the ammonia
pipeline in 1989. He retired from the gas industry in 2022 and rejoined the workforce as the First
Methodist Facilities Manager in the winter of 2024. He enjoys the upkeep of our beautiful
building and has yet to meet a problem he can’t solve! He loves his family most of all, especially
his granddaughter and his four-legged friend, Pippet. When he’s not playing pickleball, you can
find him back at the church tinkering away, serving as a lead usher, operating the sound board,
or singing in the choir.
