Jan Carpenter is native to central Iowa. She married her husband Craig in 1970. Together they
have two children, Paul and Peter and she is the proud grandmother to 3 grandchildren and 2
great grandchildren. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at
Dallas. She joined First Methodist in the Spring of 2026 as our Accounting Administrator. She
has an infectious love for the Lord and her family. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen
cooking and experimenting with new recipes using produce from her and her husband’s garden.
